STORY OF MCF

Beginning in 1997 with two vehicles donated to the foundation by a local businessman, we presently maintain a fleet of 23 vehicles. Gracious and generous Christians who want to sacrifice something for those who have sacrificed everything to carry the Gospel to the world have donated these vehicles. They help missionaries have a pleasant and worry-free furlough.

OUR OPERATION POLICY

A board of local Christian men directs the foundation. No one takes a salary or remuneration for their service. We are totally funded by gifts and donations from individuals and churches. Because we are a 501c3 organization, all gifts in kind and donations are tax deductible. When a vehicle is donated to the foundation, the board makes a decision as to the roadworthiness of that vehicle. If it is not deemed roadworthy or considered cost effective to make it so, it is sold. These proceeds provide the greatest percentage of the expense of maintaining the fleet. The average annual cost of maintaining a vehicle is around $500.
